YURAGI Terms of Use

Established: October 23, 2026
Operator: Figment (an unincorporated association)

This is a reference translation of the Japanese original. If there is any difference between the two, the Japanese version prevails.

These Terms of Use (these “Terms”) set out the conditions for using the meditation app “YURAGI” (the “Service”) provided by Figment (an unincorporated association) (the “Operator”). Users must read these Terms and agree to them before using the Service.

Article 1 (Description of the Service)

  1. The Service provides audio and other content, and related features, that support meditation, breathing, relaxation and sleep. The features and content provided are shown in the app.
  2. The Service is intended to provide general health and wellness information. It is not a substitute for diagnosis, treatment, prescription or individual medical advice by a physician or other healthcare professional. If you have any physical or mental health concerns, consult an appropriate professional. Do not use the Service while driving, or in any other situation that requires your attention, in a way that could compromise safety.
  3. The effects of the Service, and any improvement in sleep or health, vary from person to person. The Operator does not guarantee any particular result.

Article 2 (Scope; Additional Conditions)

  1. These Terms apply to the relationship between the Operator and Users with respect to the Service.
  2. If the Operator presents separate conditions for a particular feature in the app, those conditions also apply. If they conflict with these Terms, the separate conditions prevail with respect to that feature, except for any part that violates applicable laws.
  3. Subscriptions to and payments for the paid plan through an app store are also subject to the terms set by each store.

Article 3 (Eligibility; Accounts)

  1. Minors must obtain the consent of their legal representative (such as a parent or guardian) before using the Service or subscribing to the paid plan.
  2. For features that require account registration, Users must register accurate information and keep it up to date. Users must manage their login credentials properly, and must not let any third party use their account or lend, transfer, sell or buy an account.
  3. If you suspect unauthorized use, contact support@yuragi.jp promptly. Where there are reasonable grounds, the Operator may take measures to verify identity or to prevent unauthorized use.

Article 4 (Paid Plan; Free Trial)

  1. The paid plan is an auto-renewing subscription priced at 300 yen per month (tax included) in Japan, and at the price shown on each store's purchase screen in other countries or regions. There is no annual contract or annual plan.
  2. If a User who is eligible for the free trial subscribes to the paid plan, a 14-day free trial applies from the time of subscription.
  3. If the User does not cancel the free trial by the deadline set out in paragraph 4, billing of the paid plan fee set out in paragraph 1 begins when the trial period ends, and the subscription then renews automatically on a monthly basis at the end of each billing period.
  4. A subscription, whether in the free trial or in a paid period, can be cancelled from the subscription management screen of the store used to subscribe. If you do not want to be charged after the free trial ends, cancel by the deadline set by the store used to subscribe (on the App Store, at least 24 hours before the trial ends). To stop the next renewal of a paid period, cancel before the renewal date and time shown in the store. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription in the store.
  5. If you cancel the free trial by the deadline set out in paragraph 4, no initial charge is made. If you cancel during a paid period, subsequent automatic renewals stop. If you cancel during the free trial, the time at which your access ends follows what is shown in the store used to subscribe. Unless the store's terms or applicable laws provide otherwise, you may continue to use the Service until the end of any period you have already paid for. No prorated refunds are given for the elapsed part of a period. However, this does not limit your statutory rights or the refund systems of each store.
  6. For payments, receipts and refund requests, follow the procedures of the store used to subscribe.
  7. If the Operator changes the fees or the content of the plan, it will notify Users in advance of the changes and when they take effect, in accordance with the procedures of the applicable store and applicable laws.

Article 5 (License; Intellectual Property)

  1. Subject to these Terms, the Operator grants Users a non-transferable, non-sublicensable, non-exclusive right to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  2. The rights in the app, audio, music, text, images, trademarks and other content belong to the Operator or the rightful rights holders. These Terms do not transfer any of these rights to Users.
  3. Without the permission of the Operator or the rights holder, Users must not repost, distribute, publish, resell or modify content, record content and provide the recordings to third parties, or otherwise use content beyond the scope of private use intended by the app. Users also must not ingest content as training data for AI without the permission of the Operator or the rights holder. This does not apply to uses permitted by law.

Article 6 (Prohibited Conduct)

Users must not engage in any of the following:

  1. Acts that violate laws or public order and morals.
  2. Acts that infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy or other rights of the Operator or third parties.
  3. Unauthorized access, use of another person's credentials, impersonation of another person, or any other act that interferes with the operation of the Service.
  4. Unauthorized analysis, modification or copying of the app, except for acts that cannot be prohibited under law.
  5. Providing the Service or its content for commercial purposes without the Operator's permission.
  6. Obtaining large amounts of content using programs or other means beyond the normal features provided by the app.
  7. Improperly circumventing free trial eligibility or charges by creating multiple accounts or by any other means.

Article 7 (Personal Information)

The Operator handles Users' personal information in accordance with the YURAGI Privacy Policy, published separately, and applicable laws. Details of how personal information is handled are set out in that policy.

Article 8 (Changes to, Suspension and Termination of the Service)

  1. The Operator may change the content of the Service to improve its quality or update its features. If the Operator changes the main content of the paid plan in a way that is disadvantageous to Users, it will notify Users in advance, by reasonable means, of the changes and when they take effect.
  2. The Operator may temporarily suspend the Service to the extent necessary in the event of maintenance or inspection of equipment, system failures, service outages of telecommunications carriers, disasters or other unavoidable circumstances. Where advance notice is possible, the Operator will give notice beforehand.
  3. If the Operator ends the Service or the paid plan, it will give advance notice with a reasonable notice period, and will explain how any paid period not yet provided will be handled, in accordance with applicable laws and the procedures of each store.

Article 9 (Suspension of Use; Deletion of Information)

  1. If a User materially breaches these Terms, or if there is a reasonable suspicion of unauthorized use, the Operator may suspend that User's use of the Service to the extent necessary and appropriate. Where possible, the Operator will inform the User of the reason and give the User an opportunity to remedy the situation.
  2. The Service has no account registration feature. Users may request the deletion of their information held by the Operator through the procedure set out in the Privacy Policy. Information that must be retained by law may be retained for the prescribed period.
  3. Deleting information and cancelling a subscription are separate procedures. If you wish to cancel the free trial or the paid plan, also follow the procedure in Article 4, paragraph 4.

Article 10 (Disclaimers; Liability)

  1. The Operator does not guarantee that the Service will always be available without interruption, that it will work on all devices, or that any particular health benefit will be obtained.
  2. If a User suffers damage due to the Operator's non-performance of its obligations or a tort committed by the Operator, the Operator is liable in accordance with applicable laws. The Operator is not released from liability for damage caused by its willful misconduct or gross negligence.
  3. The limitations of liability in these Terms apply only to the extent permitted by the Consumer Contract Act (Japan) and other mandatory laws.
  4. If the Operator suffers damage due to a User's breach of these Terms or unlawful act, whether intentional or negligent, the Operator may claim compensation for that damage from the User in accordance with applicable laws.

Article 11 (Changes to These Terms)

The Operator may change these Terms at any time as necessary. When changing these Terms, the Operator will make the changed content and its effective date known within the Service or on the official website, and the changed Terms apply from the effective date. Changes that are disadvantageous to Users will be made known before the effective date. Where the individual consent of Users is required by law, the Operator will obtain it separately.

Article 12 (Notices; Contact)

The Operator contacts Users through in-app announcements, postings on the website, replies to inquiry emails or other appropriate means. Inquiries about the Service should be sent to support@yuragi.jp.

Article 13 (Usage Environment)

  1. Users must provide, at their own responsibility and expense, the devices, software and network connection required to use the Service.
  2. Users bear the data charges incurred in using the Service, including downloading audio content.

Article 14 (Severability)

  1. Even if any provision of these Terms is held invalid or is rescinded under law, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
  2. Even if any provision of these Terms is held invalid or is rescinded with respect to a particular User, it remains in effect with respect to other Users.

Article 15 (Governing Law; Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. If a dispute arises between the Operator and a User regarding these Terms or the Service, the Tokyo District Court shall be the agreed court of jurisdiction for the first instance. However, this does not prevent a User from filing a lawsuit in another court that has jurisdiction under law.

Article 16 (Language)

These Terms are written in Japanese as the original, and versions in other languages are translations for reference only. If there is any difference between the Japanese version and a translation, the Japanese version prevails.
